incase the first post didnt post right

This is my first time @ Mayhem but just went to a different concert this past weekend at this venue and i was not dissapointed im from new york so i have been to all the major arenas and stadiums and this venue was my favorite!!! Its not too big not too small although i wouldnt want to be on the lawn it was big enough to hold a crowd i was sitting in section 202 row v and had an amazing view i think any where you sit inside by the main stage is a great seat with a great view ,,, the seats are spaciouse and not too crowded and the consessions stands were pretty good too they sell 24oz beers for 11.00 and they had margaritas yard size for like 14 idk if they will have it at this even tho..they have a main bar (tiki style) in the consession area 2 margarita stands.2 merch booths,,,the bathrooms were gross and hot as hell but that is to be exected.. the lawn is elevated SO it provides awesome views as well as on top of the hill is a seperate bar so the lawn people dont have to travel down...i know at the concert i just went to they had a side stage and it was set up by the tiki bar in an open area in the back it was big enough to hold a regular size stage you can eaither stand or there are lawn mounds you can sit on the venue is pretty much right on the water so there is really nice views of the battleship museum in the back of the side stage which i thought was pretty cool...the parking lot that most people use is like a half a mile walk but you can hope on the trolley if your lazy its 20.00 to park or if you get there early enough try and park in the main parking lot or your going to regret the walk at the end of the show when your shit faced...everyone pregames before the show bring your beer pong tables grills what ever goes also if your not into pregamming in the parking lot there is a decent bar i went to across from the far parking lot called VICTORS they have a seperate parking lot were you can get a

Going to this Mayhem in Jersey is in a parking lot but depending on your seats you'll be sitting kind of like in an open auditorium for the main stage bands at the end of the night, the lawn pretty much sucks ass. So while your waiting to go to the main stage bands, your pretty much standing/walking around the parking lot all day in the hot sun while the other bands are playing. Personally id bring a camera in case you wanna wait in line for whatever bands are gonna be there for signings. Also saturate yourself in plenty of sun screen and id bring some extra cash if you want Souvenirs, drinks and food cuz it literally is all day and it doesnt end til like 9:00 at night and traffic will be brutal. If anyone has any trouble finding tickets, just go to ticketmaster.com and search the mayhem Festival tickets, you'll have a better variety and more definate place where you'll be able to see how the main stage seating is. It's lots of fun seeing the bands play and watching drunk people mosh and act crazy. They had a Guitar Hero tent up last year for anyone who wanted to play, the Rockstar Energy drinks were free and the entertainment was awesome. I had gone last year and im going again this year so I say it's definately worth the time and money to see all the bands and have fun.
